Evolve

Part 3: Change...Evolve

NOTE: The first several steps of this process are the same as Connecting with the SC

1) Find a comfortable place to sit or lie down where you won’t be disturbed for at least 40 minutes.

2) Perform the Complete Yogic Breath a minimum of 5 times or until you feel completely relaxed and start to sense a slight “zoning” sensation.

3) Fix your eyes on a spot on the ceiling that requires you to look upward slightly.

4) ZONE out! This feeling will become easily recognizable the more often you do this.

5) Now-once you feel the zone-say to yourself the following:

I see ________(and name something you see) - Say this three times for three different things that you see.

I hear________(and name something that you hear) -Say this three times for three different things that you hear.

I feel_________(and name something that you feel) -Say this three times for three different things that your feel.

NOW - repeat this cycle by saying two things and then one.

NOTE: If your eyes close you can say things that you see in your mind. You can repeat items, noises or feelings. What you feel can be physical or emotional. You can say it to yourself or out loud what ever you are most comfortable with.

6) You should be in an altered state of awareness. This is where it is most common to communicate to your SC. If you find that you go into a very deep state immediately you should do this stage while in the “zone”. You have to be semiconscious to communicate to the SC.

7) Now, ask for an honest communication with your SC.  This can be in the form of a visualization or perhaps just a feeling or a twitch or movement of one of your arms or legs or even fingers.  You might even hear a faint "Hello"

As you go into your trance and when you are ready to talk to your SC you need to say something similar to the following. The essence of this should be memorized to the best of your ability.

“Before I explain the reason for today’s interaction I would like to confirm that I know that you always have the best of intentions for all of us and you are always concerned about the well-being of the whole and that I appreciate you and all you have done in the past, present and future.

I have been experiencing (the following behavior.)"

Describe what you wish to change in a few sentences.

Now, say something that resembles following:

“I know when you created this behavior or strategy that it was done with the very best intent to resolve some other circumstance. It is no longer being as effective as it once was and I would like you to use your infinite creative resources to come up with an alternative strategy which addresses all of our concerns and makes us more effective in those types of situations. Once this NEW strategy has been created we agree to try it for a period of two weeks. If at the end of this period any part of us is uncomfortable with the new behavior it can be dropped and I will be notified in some manner that it is not to be used any further.”

“Agreed”

Wait for it: “Agreed”

“Once this is completed I will fall into a deep sleep. In the morning I will awake feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.”

NOTE: (If you are doing this during the day you most probably want to make a suggestion that you will awake after the new strategy has been created. You may choose to rest for a few moments prior to awakening. Make any suggestions you like such as feeling refreshed, rested and rejuvenated and ready to accept the new strategy that your SC has selected for you. I like to set a time limit such as an hour so I don’t find myself sleeping through the entire day.

NOTE: The state you achieve with this exercise will vary from one of total unconsciousness to complete awareness of your surroundings. The actual state has no impact whatsoever on the results. As well, your experiences may vary dramatically from on instance to the next.

You might find listening to this helpful in your meditation for change.
