Forgive Yourself
Program Guide
Forgive yourself!
In the section on Changing Past Trauma we are inclined to focus on activities that were inflicted on you by others. For one person a particular event may be traumatic and for another simply an experience to learn from.
We all react differently to circumstances. This is all that is relevant - how YOU react and feel.
The important thing is that if you had a negative experience your trauma is real and it will change your future, and consequently your present. And it is beneficial for you to change that part of your past.

Your past may also be littered with events where you caused trauma to others. Again, we all have a different response to these situations. A situation that a fellow classmate may never forget because of how it affected
him or her, may have been long forgotten by yourself.
When you have a recurring memory where you inflicted suffering on someone else, that causes YOU pain, guilt, anxiety, shame, or any other negative emotional reaction, you need to deal with it.
It has changed your trajectory and is diverting you from HAPPINESS!

The technique to change your past, and thus your present, is identical to what was described in Changing Past Traumas. Follow the same steps but now broaden your horizons to include anything from your past that has a negative impact on your present.
All past experiences can be corrected with the same process.
How do you know it was impactful on your present? By how it makes you feel!
